Awesome. 1-18-13 Utah and Savagist at The Star Bar last Friday ... Given the sadness of the day somber folk abound, the theme of the night was this: Play hard for Craig Lieske; latest loss of the brilliant light of musical genius. I'm not good with words but let it be said that I could see the pain, love and respect of Craig's Athenian heaviness fellows in every note and every bellow and wail... I'm pretty sure Clem Adams of Savigist did absolutely destroy an SG guitar near the end of the set... Sadness can certainly bring out the strongest of artistic ability... I know I saw it this night and I look forward to more from Utah and Savagist.... Craig Lieske's brilliance can be gawked upon by Google-ing his name, Garbage Island, Drive-by Truckers, Rock Show, Desk Pussy Etc Expect some Craig Lieske live vids and sounds soon to be posted!
